Family Vacation | Melbourne Family Photographer
We made a trip to Gold Coast in August. At first I was going to travel solo for work but since we haven’t had a proper holiday & our son is an avid wildlife fan, we turned it into a work + holiday trip.
This was a 3 day event dedicated for maternity, birth, newborn and baby photographers. It focuses on sharing a wealth of knowledge to help improve photographer’s skills and business. I have never been in a room filled with so many photographers in my whole life! 300 females to be exact with some male photographers too. It was such an eye opening experience and I can honestly say that it has changed the way I approach a few things, in life and photography. Now I am even more passionate to create a one of a kind experience to each and every family I meet. After that event, my family and I enjoyed a really great holiday. I won’t say too much but I’m sure the images will do. ;)
We went to Australia Zoo as part as Jasper’s 3rd birthday. We went a private buggy tour. Bindi Island & the Crocodile show was the best! We would definitely do it again in a heartbeat!
Movie World was more for my husband. Big kid at heart he is. A majority of the time Jasper and I would wait for him until he finished his rides, however we couldn’t go past Ben & Jerry without stopping to have some! Haha! Oh and can you tell how our son had enough of photos?
Why go all the way to the Great Barrier Reef when you can find it all here? The dolphin show is really entertaining and so is the meet & greet the rays, a very unique experience.
We met some farm animals here but Jasper was a little frighten by them so it was a quick half an hour trip. Anyway it was still good fun! Baaa!
We ended the trip with a relaxing time cruising the coast, looking for whales with Whales in Paradise group. We saw so many pretty and famous houses (aka. mansions) as we head out to the sea in search for large mammals. :P
